Project Name Ecomuseum in Lanckorona, Poland
Description Lanckorona Ecomuseum is a networked and open museum that covers the entire space of four rural municipalities near Cracow – Lanckorona, Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, Stryszów, Mucharz. The main goal of the Ecomuseum is to create local spaces for tourism, recreation, leisure and, as a consequence of profits, cultural and social activation of municipalities’ residents. It is a network of organizations and private actors, so there is no one owner (however the main umbrella organization is Go?ciniec 4 ?ywio?ów). It is financed by the individual social and private actors which are participating in Lanckorona Ecomusuem.
Description of the economic, social and environmental impacts of the project Bottom-up, networked initiative. Includes different actors such as NGOs, local businesses (38 private and social actors). Mobilization of the local community - new small job opportunities.
