| Description | The corner building was originally designed at the beginning of the 20th century as a town hybrid offering the first kindergarten in the ground floors, business/commercial units in the basement and apartments on the upper floors. The concept of the renovation is an open and fluid, multi-purpose space, articulated to form meeting and working spaces, exhibitions, cafe and events venue, for various uses in different periods. |
| Description of the economic, social and environmental impacts of the project | Due to deterioration of the building, the scope of intervention included energetic upgrade, upgrade of mechanical and all the installations, as well as technological upgrade of safety systems. The technological intervention together with spatial organisation offers a new hub, catalyst, for the local community, with the aim of urban regeneration of the neighbourhood. |
