4024 Vetrinjski dvor, Maribor, Slovenia On the place where the street Vetrinjska ulica separates from the square Grajski trg, stands the mansion Vetrinjski dvor, the most important bourgeois house in Maribor, actually it was an old estate, which when it changed its owner also changed its name (Breunerjev dvorec, Naskova hiša, Berdajsova hiša). History Its core dates from the 14th century and at the same time it is built in a late Baroque style. It has a beautiful stone cut portal, which is crowned with the coat of arms of the Counts of Breuner. The house chapel of St. Florian, in the south tract, was concreted in 1519, in the eastern wing, which stands on remains of the old town wall, are the remains of a hall where between 1785 and 1806 theatrical performances were organized. The building, which until 1814 was the seat of the regional office, is a beautiful example of a large town mansion, which with four wings closed off the courtyard, uniting administrative and houserooms.
4025 Spazio Kor, Italy Spazio KOR returns to the city a closed, old, deconsecrated baroque church and transformed it in open, restored, multidisciplinary performing space. The church, after many non-religious uses, was converted into a fully equipped theatre in 2011 and since 2016 is managed by our organization, CRAFT Association. Using innovative theatre and contemporary art, the cultural project, called Spazio Kor, aims to involve the community into a cultural experience and an audience engagement approach. The theatre season is composed by 30 shows per year, 100 events, everyday opening, 1500 spectators and more than 15.000 people entering the Space since the opening.

4028 Palazzo Innovazione, Italy The Benedictine monastery of St. Sophie in Salerno was realized in the X Century AD and has a great long history of uses and reuses over centuries. In 1309 it become seat for Benedictine nuns, which use lasted until 1589, when they moved to another monastery. The building passed to Jesuits until 1778 and after this date it was given to Carmelitan fathers of Pope Clemente IX. In 1807 a Napoleonic decree suppressed the religious use and the building become a Civil Courthouse. In 1938 the use value was linked to education (public school). After a long period of abandonment, the monumental complex was recovered by the Municipality within the URBAN programme in Salerno (1994-1999) and it was used as place of public events and exhibitions. In 2016 a renovation and reuse project was proposed to the Municipality to use the former monastery as Innovation Palace hosting a co-working space for start-ups, incubator and venture capital services, meetings and events rooms.
4029 Pfefferwerk, Germany Pfefferwerk AG is a small joint stock company which, for many years, has been responsible for the cultural activities that take place in and around an area in the centre of Berlin called “Pfefferberg”. Our company acts as a project developer, as well as a coaching and management service company. The “Pfefferwerk Network” is a combination of legally independent, nonprofit and profitable organizations in the Berlin area called “Pankow”, who act on different levels and in different fields for common aims and strategies. Their main target is to strengthen the local community and particularly to promote social cohesion in a sustainable manner. They act all over the town in the fields of vocational training, youth and child welfare, cultural and social promotion, as well as all other kinds of services.
