EU Research and Innovation for Cities of the Future

On 21stMarch, CLIC will take part in the event “EU Research and Innovation for Cities of the Future”, jointly organized by the URBAN Intergroup of the European Parliament with the European Commission, DG-RTD. The event will show how EU-funded Research and Innovation projects and actions are driving Sustainable Urban Development to address major urban challenges. The initiative will be the occasion to share findings as well as opportunities based on the highlights of the draft High-Level Expert Group on Innovating Cities, informing the audience on the existing EU funding instruments to support cities in their transition towards sustainability. CLIC is involved in the session titled “EU-funded R&I for and with cities” and will report on the project case studies in Rijeka and Salerno.
