International Historic Urban Landscape workshop in Salerno
From 26 to 29 November, the Municipality of Salerno will host a four-day session of the CLIC project. The first key event of this rich programme is represented by the second Historic Urban Landscape (HUL) workshop, organized by the Municipality of Salerno, IRISS and TU/e. Local stakeholders and international experts will present national and international experiences of adaptive reuse of cultural heritage, discussing the barriers and bottlenecks they have to handle and the solutions adopted to overcome them.
On 27 November, through the World Café methodology, stakeholders will be organized in working tables and encouraged by CLIC moderators to engage in open dialogue and creative thinking on how to manage successfully the adaptive reuse of cultural heritage.
The programme of Historic Urban Landscape Workshop includes a guided visit to Salerno historic centre which will be the basis for the Peer Review process, led by ICLEI. Peer review is intended as “cities learning from other cities”. The four local partnerships will have the chance to exchange knowledge on their local experience for overcoming existing problems, by building an understanding of the issues, situation and challenges, exploring new ideas and options.
