Internship programme: A focus on perceptions mapping.
ICHEC internship programme. Thursday 25 October 2018 at 12:30 PM – 2:30PM| Room C001 (Anjou site).
Under the framework of H2020 research project CLIC (Circular models Leveraging Investments in Cultural heritage adaptive reuse), ICHEC welcomed four masters students to undertake their internships at ICHEC and abroad.
Each intern conducted fieldwork and desk research on one of CLIC’s case studies and in close cooperation with ICHEC’s partner institutions in Amsterdam, Rijeka, Salerno and Vastra Gotaland Region. During their one month internship abroad the interns mapped people’s perceptions (through random and ad-hoc interviews) in reference to the lived environment through the five senses. In the meantime, they were also able to analyse the liveability of the four cities/region through their own observations. Finally, during their one month desk research at ICHEC they were able to elaborate the collected data and highlight threats and opportunities for adaptive reuse in the four case-studies.
