Re.LIGHT | Lights on Cultural Heritage Guided “rediscovery” of Cultural Heritage in the historic centre of Salerno

The CLIC team, in collaboration with associations and companies of the Salerno area, has organized the event Re.LIGHT | Lights on Cultural Heritage consisting in a “heritage walk”, an alternative guided tour within Luci d’ Artista 2019/2020 to rediscover and light up the abandoned, underused and reused  historical-cultural places, for too long “darkened” in the consciousness of the citizens of Salerno, “bringing to light” the experiences of reuse and enhancement of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage that have started-up  ‘culture-led’ urban regeneration processes.

The HIPs Stakeholders’ Permanent Lab has been recently launched in Salerno thanks to the collaboration between of Municipality of Salerno and its research partner, CNR-IRISS, who welcomed the explicit request of a number of CLIC project stakeholders to stimulate closer and continuous collaboration between the various stakeholders in the Heritage Innovation Partnerships and with the project team, by collecting, sharing and analysing proposals for action for the definition of the Local Action Plan.

European network of historic botanic therapeutic gardens

From the experience of HIPs Salerno, a close collaboration and synergy with Giardino della Minerva has been developed, which in turn, thanks to the thrust of CLIC project, is pursuing the idea of a European network of historic botanic therapeutic gardens – with others located in Cordoba (Spain), Uppsala (Sweden) and Kos (Greece) – aimed at enhancing the cultural value of Salernitan School of Medicine through a Heritage-led innovation and entrepreneurial approach.
